What to Expect
Your first checkup will take about 50 minutes to complete. Dr Mina (Dentist) will fully evaluate your teeth, soft tissues, and perform an oral cancer exam. We will also take any necessary X-rays, including one of your full jaw.
Should anything significant require your attention, we will review those findings with you. We’ll share ways to limit the spread or progression of those concerns, then discuss ways to treat them before more teeth become involved.
After a thorough clean, we will apply fluoride to strengthen your tooth enamel. We will also provide advice on areas that need extra attention once you return home.

Our high tech Diagnocam is used to check your soft tissue for signs of oral cancer. We do this every time we do a check up and clean – to keep you and your family healthy and smiling! There is no extra charge for this.
